💄 3 HOUR MAKEUP WORKSHOP at Iridis HQ in Yarraville – ‘Mum & Me’ Makeup & Self Esteem Glamtorial®️. $289

A school holiday bonding session involving skincare, best practice grooming for teens, (yes I tell them to wash their face and shower!), makeup and importantly – the increasing of their self-esteem and confidence, all with their mum along for the ride! You’ll both learn our simple makeup techniques for makeup that is age-appropriate for them and glowingly gorgeous for you. We’ll have our usual self-love, confidence building and self-esteem increasing conversations – especially pitched at your children’s experiences. Suits teens and tweens of all ages, as we can tailor the content to the group.

This is a mix of our ‘Beautiful Basics’ Glamtorials® for the over 40s and the Self Esteem & Makeup Teen/Tween Workshops. A perfect mix for you both to experience how to feel more positive about YOU and your appearance. It also gives you a shared experience to continue the conversation of improving confidence, finding their feelings of self-worth and how to believe in themselves, and the role makeup plays in that. (ie that it’s a tool that makes us feel more fancy and confident, NOT ‘prettier’.)

Our three-hour group workshop, covering beautiful age-appropriate content (for you and them lol) includes:

🌟 skincare basics and good grooming

🌟 BB Cream base and light powder (foundation for the mum if you wish!)

🌟 cheeks, contouring & highlighting

🌟 three-colour easy eyeshadow look

🌟 mascara and brows

🌟 luscious lips (gloss for the teen, lippy for you!)

This will give you an up-levelled, easy look for work and your teen will learn all the basics to great skincare and makeup!

What sets Iridis apart is the HOW we teach makeup. It’s hands on, easy, and while we teach the makeup techniques, we also teach elements of self-esteem, confidence, how to believe in yourself and how to find the things that make you most beautiful – inside and out. These elements are of particular importance with our kids.

We also cover, as conversational points, during the makeup lesson, how to:

🌟 set boundaries of behaviour with others

At the end of the session we will include a mini iPhone ‘Mum & Me’ photography session so you can get some fantastic photos of you and your child!

About Peta-Gai, your Makeup Artist Educator & Founder of Iridis Cosmetics

Workshops at Iridis HQ in Yarraville are mainly run by Peta-Gai, Iridis Founder. Peta-Gai is passionate and extremely knowledgable when it comes to makeup, and is patient, kind and understanding as a teacher. She is a vibrant, motivating and energetic presenter, who will not only teach you how to apply your own makeup, but will also show you how to find the thing that makes you most gorgeous, and demonstrate why it’s important to focus on all the things that make you beautiful (even if you can’t see those things – she will!) You’ll be applying makeup to your own face, following along with the demo we do on the model, and by watching our step by step photos and reviewing your Glamtorial worksheets and handouts.
