🏳️‍⚧️ A TRANS/CD MAKEOVER 🏳️‍⚧️  $275

This makeover service is where Peta-Gai makes you over, based on what she thinks would look gorgeous on you. She will feminise your features, apply beautiful makeup, and false lashes and you will be able to revel in your feminine gorgeousness.  Whatever look you’re desiring, we can create – subtle glam, full glam and everything in between.

All of your most beautiful features are brought out with our makeup and magic, and you will see your feminine self through the eyes of a Makeup Artist, in a way you’ve never seen before!

A fantastic first starting point to feel gorgeously YOU and meet your new female self, looking fabulously pretty and beautiful.

Feel free to bring your wigs, female clothes and shoes and Peta-Gai will take your photos in a mini-iPhone photoshoot under our makeup lights, with you looking fabulous!

These lessons are some of the work that truly lights us up.  Iridis Founder, Peta-Gai is a queer woman who created Iridis with her ex-wife plus, ‘Iridis’ is Latin for rainbow! Our Studio Manager is Vanessa, who found us via this very page on our website, came in for a Trans Makeup Lesson and later joined our team!

Peta-Gai is very experienced in teaching makeup to Trans and CD Women, to create the illusion of more feminine features, and can show you how to use these makeup techniques to feminise your look. You will learn how to do great makeup as part of living your feminine life.

Your makeup design and lesson will be tailored just for you, in a hands-on, practical and information-packed session. Your tailored session will show you how to:

• Prep your face for makeup – including simple skin care tips for trans women;
• Cover your beard and moustache shadow;
• Create a more flawless foundation finish that will last all day;
• Minimise more masculine features;
• Utilise great highlighting and contouring techniques for more feminisation;
• Apply simple eyeshadow techniques to make your eyes pop, including a day look, a night look and even a smoky, sexy look for going out;
• Choose makeup colours that will suit you and flatter your complexion;
• Craft a feminine brow shape to suit your face, including recommendations on how to feminise your brows;
• Apply colour to your face with blusher and lips, (how and where to), including making lips look fuller and more luscious with liner; and
• Apply expert makeup to have you feeling one step closer to your true, authentic female self.

Two options are available depending on your time available and what you need to learn:

The Three-(3)-Hour Lesson gives you an overview of all the basics of skincare and makeup to feminise your face and have you present as female beautifully. It will provide a solid overview on skin, foundation base, beard correction, basic eyes, brows, contouring, highlighting and cheeks and lips. $427*

The Six-(6)-hour lesson gives us more time to really delve into makeup to suit you. We cover more advanced techniques like expert eyes, smoky eyes, how to apply lashes, more on how to feminise your face using different features (eyes, cheeks, lips, brows) and how to create advanced night looks. $797*

Bring your wigs and your feminine outfits and we’ll even take a photo for you on your phone, in the great makeup lighting, for you to have a record of your enhanced gorgeousness!

🏳️‍⚧️ TRANS/CD BROW FEMINISATION SCULPTING SERVICE 🏳️‍⚧️  $95/$75

The art of a beautiful Trans/CD Brow Feminisation is a technique not truly understood by most Beauty Therapists. It is a uniqueskill and one we pride ourselves on here at Iridis.

Most therapists will want to just ‘tidy up’ underneath and follow the natural line of the brow. But that is not what we do at Iridis because it doesn’t feminise the face to the appropriate level. Being specialists in all things Trans and CD, we know how to reshape a brow to create a more feminine look to the entire face.

In an up to 60-minute appointment to feminise your brows to whatever degree you desire (slightly femme for those who still live part time as their boy self, or more advanced femme for those ready to embrace), we will create brow magic for you.

Iridis’s Brow Whisperer, Peta-Gai, will craft your very own unique Trans Feminisation Custom Brow Arching & Design for you – this is so much more than “a brow wax”. 

Our Peta-Gai was trained by American Skincare, Makeup and Brow Guru, Donna Mee, (the ‘Beauty Prodigy’), the way Donna taught Peta-Gai the brows is unlike anything anyone else teaches when it comes to creating symmetry, shape, arch, lift and extra gorgeousness. It is a highly unique brow service that produces remarkable results.

For Peta-Gai’s amazing up-to 60-minute Trans Feminisation Brow Whispering appointment, her brow magic includes:

✅ Measuring 16 points and all elements of your face to ensure your brows enhance your intrinsic beauty and create the most feminine shape to suit you (and how much you need to stay in ‘boy mode’ v’s ‘girl mode’;

✅Designing the correct brow shape to match hair growth patterns, enhance your face shape, eye shape and size of your nose (for example, if your brows start in the wrong position for your features, they will make your nose appear bigger!);

✅Ensuring the correct brow length that won’t age you, or drag down your face;

One Full Day of Makeup and another Full Day of Trans Social Transitioning Hacks – this is everything you need to know to step fully into the feminine.  This service includes a Brow Feminisation, endless coffee and tea, and snacks, and an extra hour of the makeup lesson. 

DAY ONE… it is MAKEUP, MAKEUP, MAKEUP! A full day makeup lesson, hands on, and tailored to you and your style of how you want to present femininely. 

We cover everything you need in order to present female visually on your gorgeous face:

• Skincare secrets for trans women
• How to create a beautiful, flawless base of foundation
• How to hide beard shadow, and dark circles
• Facial feminisation techniques, including contouring, highlighting, and blusher techniques to present more femininely 
• Eyeshadow techniques for day, night and smoky looks
• Eyeliner techniques 
• Brow feminisation and shape to suit your features
• Luscious lips including liner, lipstick and gloss
• False lashes application (if there’s time, depending upon learning pace)

DAY TWO is a Deep Dive Discussion of all things trans that will aid you in your journey into the feminine and help you present as a woman socially with confidence. These are the secrets to transitioning easily and joyfully and give you a lot of information in an easy to digest way. Complete with an amazing Workbook too!

In a group with other trans women, or individually,

 we cover all the feminine hacks that you need to know to transition successfully. This was created as a result of my trans clients asking Peta-Gai questions on other topics during a makeup lesson. Peta-Gai did the research and gathered everything together to answer the commonly asked questions when you’re just starting out on your trans journey.

There’s so much conflicting advice on the internet, and it’s scattered everywhere. You have to dig around to find the right information for you. Our program has it all in one spot, delivered as a lovely conversation.

We cover insider tricks and tactics to pass comfortably and to feel your most feminine:

• The ins and outs of wigs, whether you go with synthetics or natural hair and the pros and cons of each, including how to determine what will fit into your lifestyle, as well as how to look after your hair as it grows;
• A bunch of girly (non-makeup) stuff, for example – what are your nails options (SNS, shellac, acrylic, normal paint etc), perfume choice, choosing your breast size for augmenting the natural shape, lingerie, padding for a more feminine shape, tucking and how to put yourself together beautifully. 
• A whole discussion on clothes, shoes and accessories, including advice from a Trans Fashion Stylist, on how to dress for your shape, and create a feminine silhouette;
• Practical advice around coming out at work and with family and friends, how to change your name legally, and psychology advice from a gender psychologist specialist on how to navigate the emotions of transitioning. We include advice on navigating partners, kids, family and how to navigate trans dating in this modern world! 
• We explore facial feminisation surgery, gender affirmation surgery, how hormones work and affect your face and body, as well as practical tips on voice training; and

We go at your pace, so you’re not rushed, as this is often a new experience for you. We also take time to get to know you and your journey as part of the lesson process.
